AcrelorePrivacy question ↗

Effective 9 August 2026

Privacy belongs in the field record.

Acrelore is designed to help growers preserve useful observations while keeping control of sensitive property and crop information. This policy explains what the app handles and why.

Information Acrelore handles

Depending on the features you choose, Acrelore may handle photographs, spoken observations, audio recordings, transcripts, written notes, crop and block information, dates, device-generated spatial information and location.

These records are used to provide the app’s field capture, block history, nearby-memory, search, weather-context and reporting features.

On-device and local processing

Acrelore uses on-device processing wherever supported. Records are primarily stored on your device. If you deliberately use a locally connected analysis service, relevant content may be sent across your local network to that service. Acrelore does not sell your field records or use them for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Device capabilities vary. When an on-device feature is unavailable, Acrelore may provide a reduced local experience rather than silently sending the record to an unrelated cloud service.

Permissions

  • Camera and Photos: to capture observations or analyse only the photographs you select.
  • Microphone and Speech Recognition: to record and transcribe spoken field observations and questions.
  • Location: to associate an observation with a property or block, show nearby memories and provide local weather context.
  • Local Network: to connect to an analysis service you control on the same network.
  • Contacts and Calendar: only when you choose to save a detected contact or event after reviewing it.

You can change permissions at any time in iOS or iPadOS Settings.

Weather and service requests

When you request weather-aware context, approximate or precise coordinates may be sent to the weather provider solely to return conditions for that location. Network infrastructure may process ordinary technical information such as IP address and request timing.

Retention and deletion

Your records remain on the device until you remove them or delete the app, subject to any backups you control. You can remove individual records within Acrelore. For privacy questions or assistance with deletion, contact us using the address below.

Children, changes and contact

Acrelore is a professional field-recording product and is not directed to children. We may update this policy as the product develops and will publish the revised effective date here.
